About Museo Sugbo
Museo Sugbo is house at what was once called Carcel de Cebu, the provincial jail of Cebu.
Galleries, special exhibitions and wishing well at Museo Sugbo, a former prison complex of structures made of coral stone and lime mortar built 1870 and surviving virtually unchanged through time.
Coming Soon: Museum Cafe and Museum Gift Shop
Plans are afoot to provide a gift shop and a cafe at two of the six former bartolinas or isolation cells located at the eastern side of the museum quadrangle.
